Supporting the trade fair sector to support the national economic system

International trade fairs are strategic assets for business and industry development: they generate significant revenue, foster commercial agreements, partnerships, and innovation in products, technologies, and trends. Despite the rise and potential of digital connections, these events still constitute a crucial physical space where businesses can enhance quality and international reach.

In Italy ,and more broadly in Europe, fairs reflect the vibrancy of local industries, acting as dynamic platforms for evolution. Supporting Italian fairs that compete globally means supporting essential sectors of our national economy, thereby promoting overall economic growth. Therefore, the trade fair system should be considered as an essential tool of economic policy. Reinforcing international fairs in Italy would offers businesses, especially SMEs, a competitive edge in terms of visibility and representation.

The Association aims to:

  • Contribute to shaping economic policies that support “Made in Italy” and exports, including a national strategic plan for trade fair development.
  • Offer a unified and collaborative dialogue with public export promotion agencies and relevant international bodies.
  • Systematize and share knowledge and practical expertise to help businesses navigate the evolving international landscape more effectively.
