FILO is the international exhibition of yarns and fibres for woven and knitted fabrics for apparel, furnishing and technical textile.
With the aim of making FILO an effective supply chain platform, capable of offering new developments in the search for increasingly innovative yarns, from several editions FILO has included dyeing and finishing mills, as well as fibres suppliers. In fact, they represent the upstream link of spinning, and showing their products and processes alongside those of spinning mills allows an overall vision of the potentials in textile research and production. The presence of organizations for the promotion of natural noble fibres and of some leading groups working in the production of man-made fibres offers an overall view for the creation of a high quality and eco-friendly end-product.

The fair is held twice a year, in February and in September in Milan. FILO is a B2B fair and lasts two days. On average, FILO has over 100 exhibitors, of which 70% comes from Italy and 30% from abroad.
