Exhibition for manufacturers of furnishing fabrics and curtains

 In 1993 the most qualified Italian furnishing textiles industrialists promoted PROPOSTE:

– specialized because the exhibitors are exclusively direct producers of furnishing fabrics, curtains, trimmings and wallcoverings;

– selective because the exhibitors share the following characteristics: qualification of the respective companies and products; professional correctness; creative and technological research and experimentation; orientation of production towards health- and environmentally-friendly textiles.

The fair is not open to the public. Visitors can access the fair only if invited by the Operative secretariat and rigorously chosen among the following categories: textile editors, upholstered furniture manufacturers, wholesalers, large distribution chains, converters, contract operators, architecture and interior design studios.

Accredited journalists can access the fair.

The exhibiting location is Villa Erba in Cernobbio (Como), considered the most suitable for its beauty and functionality.

PROPOSTE is a real world preview. Trends on show during the fair will travel all around the world as a “must” for interior decoration.

The first edition, PROPOSTE ’93, hosted 44 exhibitors, 6 of which foreign, and 2.500 visitors: industrialists and entrepreneurs from all over the world.

In 1997 PROPOSTE obtained the Italian government’s acknowledgement as international fair.

PROPOSTE 2024, last May 2-3-4, had 79 exhibitors, 31 Italian and 48 foreign. Visitors were 3.836 (1.313 from Italy and 2.523 from other countries).

PROPOSTE 2025 will be held on May 6-7-8.
